Leading index manager, Vanguard Investments Australia (Vanguard) today announced the appointment of two communication and marketing professionals to its team.
Jodie Levitski joins as Marketing Communications and PR Manager, while Hilary Spear takes up the role of Marketing Manager, Advertising and Campaigns, both reporting to Colin Bold, Vanguard's Head of Marketing.
Jodie will be responsible for managing Vanguard's communication strategy and public relations activities. Jodie brings over 13 years' experience to the role including most recently as Investor Relations Manager for Macquarie Goodman Group. Jodie also has extensive experience working in communication and PR roles in the gaming, manufacturing, advertising and financial services industries.
Hilary will be responsible for Vanguard's advertising campaign and brand strategy. Hilary joins with over 14 years' communication and marketing experience working with leading groups such as Industry Fund Services, UniSuper, Social Change Media and Watson Wyatt. Hilary's most recent role was as Campaign Manager at Industry Fund Services, overseeing the 'Compare the Pair' joint industry super fund marketing campaign.
The appointments follow a successful year for Vanguard in Australia, with funds under management now reaching $45 billion, up from $38 billion last year. At the same time, Vanguard's Marketing team has been responsible for a number of PR and Communication campaigns aimed at the direct, adviser and institutional audiences.
Colin Bold, Vanguard's Head of Marketing said, "Early on we identified a need to bring on board specialist experts who had experience in running similar campaigns and could add significant value to our communication and marketing efforts.
