Conservative investment portfolio

A portfolio typically held by an investor who is only willing to take a low-level of risk, limiting the potential for long-term capital growth. Such a portfolio is likely to hold a large portion of fixed interest and cash (income assets), with a relatively low holding in growth assets such as shares and property.
