The Vanguard Emerging Markets Shares Index Fund provides a simple, low cost way to gain exposure to a diversified range of approximately 700 companies (shares) listed on the exchanges of 22 of the world’s developing economies (emerging markets), in diverse regions such as Asia, Latin America, Eastern Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
