Qian Wang is a Senior Economist for Vanguard in Asia and a member of Vanguard's global Investment Strategy Group.

Her focus is on contributing to Vanguard's global thought leadership through research on markets, the economy and investment strategies.

Before joining Vanguard, Ms. Wang worked on macro research and strategic development at a sovereign wealth fund based in Asia. Before that, she was the Chief China Economist and Head of Greater China Macro Research at JP Morgan. Ms. Wang also spent three years as a full-time Assistant Professor in the business school of The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Her research on China's capital markets and corporate finance has been published in top-tier academic journals, such as the Journal of Accounting and Economics, the Journal of Development Economics, and Applied Economics.

Ms. Wang earned a PhD in business administration from Stanford University, an MA in economics from Duke University and a BA in international economics from Peking University.
